At The Simply Dress, we craft every Sheath dress and pair of Earrings with precision and care. We want you to love your purchase as much as we loved creating it. However, if something isn’t quite right, our hassle-free returns process ensures your experience remains as effortless as our A-line silhouettes.

Our Return Promise

We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of delivery for most items in their original condition with tags attached. Please note:

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and free of any alterations
  • Original tags must still be attached
  • Final sale items (see below) cannot be returned or exchanged

Non-Returnable Items

To maintain the integrity of certain delicate pieces, these items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Earrings (for hygiene reasons)
  • Open Back dresses (due to specialized alterations often requested)
  • Matching Sets if purchased as separates
  • Any items marked as “Final Sale”

How to Return or Exchange

Step 1: Initiate Your Return

Email our customer care team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order with:

  • Your order number
  • Item(s) you wish to return/exchange
  • Reason for return
  • Whether you prefer a refund or exchange

Step 2: Package Your Items

Once approved, repackage your items securely in the original packaging if possible. Include:

  • All original tags and labels
  • The packing slip (if available)
  • Any free gifts received with the order

Step 3: Ship Your Return

We’ll provide a prepaid return label for US customers. International customers (excluding some Asian/remote areas) will receive return instructions based on location.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Timing: Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after we receive your return
  • Method: Funds will be returned to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

Exchange Process

For exchanges:

  • We’ll ship your new item once we receive the return
  • You’ll be responsible for any price difference
  • If the exchanged item costs less, we’ll refund the difference
  • Standard shipping rates apply for the new item

International Returns

For our global customers (excluding some Asian/remote areas):

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service
  • Customs fees are non-refundable
